I was listening to snippets of the debate on NPR and had to turn it off.  I can’t stand listening to either of these men in a debate format.

Chestbeat then blame.  Brag then accuse.  ”Empathize” then attack.  It’s fucking exhausting.

I couldn’t agree more!

Neither of them can debate. There were no clear direct answers to a single question last night. It was all stump points and soundbites again and again. No clarity on five-point plans, no clarity on a vision for the future and how to lead down that path. Most of the time was spent referring to the past and blaming someone else. No acceptance that things are broken. No ability to define a clear, logical and responsible path to the future.

Why is it so damn hard for a politician to just answer a goddamn question? There were
